acting like a kitten again
We called in again to see Persian Poppy in Accrington, Lancashire.
We last met up with Poppy some months ago, when she had her first clip. Extremely fidgety !
Today, another Lion Clip was on the cards. Poppy’s coat was matted in places and a brush out would not have worked. She really does not like any combing by mum or dad and her coat is that cotton wooly affair that knots easily. Here’s a piccie below of Poppy before the session began.
Overall, a much less fidgety session today. So well done Poppy !
Later, mum Debbie said
“Thank you for the time you spend grooming Poppy as you could see before you left she played a lot that day – all that fur must have been weighing her down. The biggest change in her is her attachment to me. She is a lot more affectionate and sitting on my knee at every opportunity. She also follows me to bed for a cuddle pawing me when she doesn’t get enough attention. She has also let me brush out her beard, as we call it, a few times now. She’s still not very happy about it but we are leaving her brush out so she gets used to it and now she doesn’t run away when she sees it. We will be in touch again (sooner this time)”
