little dolly

DSCN1807A Dolly 200114 cropped+(c)Dolly.  A 9 month old Persian cross.  DSCN1818A Dolly 200114 cropped+(c)

Absolutely gorgeous !!

We called to take a look at her coat.  We clipped away some areas that couldn’t be saved and brushed out the rest.  This was Dolly’s first professional groom and she behaved very well on the table.  It’s important to introduce grooming sessions young, so that it just becomes part of the norm for your cat.

Following the session, dad Ian and mum Joan from Carnforth, Lancashire said :

“Dolly is our 9 month old persian/cross kitten.  She has never been groomed  before but I even think she enjoyed the experience with Sandra.  Dolly had  problems with knotting in her fur and she , so we thought, was very timid.  But, with what seemed little problem, Sandra had the situation under control.  I have already pencilled her in for the next visit.  DEFINITELY to be recommended.”

Thanks Ian !  Nice to meet you Dolly – see you again soon !

We were really pleased to be asked to meet up with these 2 lovely boys again.

Jasper, a 3.5 year old tabby and and Herbie, almost 2 years old are both timid by nature.  Both their coats were is good condition as mum is able to brush them regularly.  They just needed a thorough brushing out – Jasper in particular, as his coat is very thick.  Here’s the hair that came away from Jasper.DSCN1792A Jasper's hair 160114+(c)V__C140 Herbie 160114 cropped+(c)

It was obvious that both boys remembered their last session and today they were much more settled on the table.  It’s usually the case.  Both their behaviours were fantastic !

Following the session, mum Claire from Stockport, Cheshire said :

“Hi Sandra.  Thank you very much for your hard work and patience with my boys, they seem to be really benefiting from their groom.  The amount of dead hair you got off Jasper was ridiculous and Herbie looks like he’s won the Daz Challenge !  Once again thanks and we’ll see you soon xxx”

Thanks so much for the feedback Claire !  Well done boys – treats all round !

little milly

DSCN1781A Milly 150114 cropped+(c)This little Tortoiseshell Ragdoll is almost 2 and a half years old.  She’s called Milly and she lives in Ripponden, Yorkshire.

Milly is such a friendly little girl.  She came to the door to meet us when we arrived and was happy to have a stroke.  Her coat was thick and in need of a really good brush out.  Only a couple of small tangles couldn’t be saved, but we were able to work through the rest with the comb.  Milly behaved very well whilst we combed through with vigour !

We should have weighed Milly before the session, and again afterwards !  The coat will be much more manageable for Milly, and much easier for mum to comb through now.

After the session, mum Abby told us :

“I have liked and shared your Facebook page as you did such a fabulous job with my Milly. Milly is quite a shy cat but was very happy to be handled by you. You have done a fantastic job with her coat & given me some great advice on future care. Just wanted to say a big thank you from both of us. Abby x”

Well done Milly … You look lovely !

lovely finnegan

Back CameraHere’s Finnegan.

This gorgeous fellow is about 11 years old, and he is such a gentle boy.

This session was just about nails, and although Finnegan doesn’t particularly like having his nails clipped, he lay still on the table whilst we got to work.  Nervous by nature – but he obviously remembered his last groom and was more relaxed than any previous session.

Following the session, mum Nat from Middleton, Manchester later said :

“This is the third time I’ve needed the use of Sandra’s services, the reason for this appointment being to cut Finnegan’s claws.  It was noticeable that Finnegan was not as nervous during this visit and that his confidence has increased.  He was especially good during the clipping process, though to be fair, he couldn’t wait to get off the table! Sandra appears to be building an extremely good relationship with Finn which is great as he doesn’t trust many people. I’ll definitely be booking in again.”

Fantastic ! – Thanks Nat …. See you both again soon !

did you hear that ?

florence and knight

DSCN1798A Knight 170114 cropped+(c)Say Hi to these 2 beauties.  They are 10 month old litter mates, and both males (that’s right !).DSCN1801A Florence 170114 cropped+(c)

Florence (pictured below) and Knight (left) are very energetic, inquisitive, friendly young lads.  They had to thoroughly examine everything that we brought with us and ‘helped’ with the setting up of our equipment.

They are indoor cats at the moment, and most importantly were in need of a good nail trim.  Both their coats are short, sleek and in tip top condition, but dad treated Knight to a full dry groom.  Florence proved more of a handful, and was determined that he could look after his coat himself !

Afterwards, we had lots of help once again, clearing up.  Cheers lads !

Dad Tommy from Blackpool, Lancashire later said :

“Our cats look great, very professional service will definitely use again”

Thanks Tommy.  Nice to meet your gorgeous boys and see you again in due course.
