Little Persian Mia was a good girl during her brush out session with belly clip, when we called in on her this time around.   Actually, she’s always a good girl !  Mia is 6 years old and she lives in Nantwich, Cheshire.

Mia’s coat was thickening up for winter all right, but mum’s done well to keep on top of it since our last visit a few weeks ago.

14 year old Buffy lives in Ashton In Makerfield, Wigan.

Buffy isn’t that keen on being combed in general, hence a few knotted areas had developed, with a pelt down her back.

After the session, mum Sharon said

“Just to say a huge thank you to Sandra who came and groomed our cat Buffy. She had developed quite a number of matted knots and these needed to be clipped out. Buffy grumbled a lot throughout the process as it was something she was not used too but Sandra handled her extremely well. She is now a much happier cat. I would recommend Sandra if you are looking for someone to groom your cat.”

We met up with a new young lady called Mary recently. Mary is just 12 months old and she lives in Altrincham, Cheshire with her housemate and family.

Breed ? Mary’s a British Short Hair, of course.

There was just a pedicure in store for Mary today and she took it all in her stride. No worries at all !

siberian red

Red. 2 years old. Siberian Forest Cat. Sandbach, Cheshire. You recognise him ?

Most definitely in need of his maintenance groom this month ! His coat has snowballed again since we last met up and we removed lots of tangles, knots and dead hair !!

mister luigi

It was time once again for Luigi’s maintenance groom. At 5 years old, Luigi is an Exotic and he lives in Windermere, Cumbria.

As an Exotic, Luigi’s coat is soooooo dense. We meet up regularly with him to keep on top of it, but it’s always a full on session with him looking much sleeker afterwards.

It’s always difficult to get a good piccie of Luigi – as he always closes his little eyes. In the piccie below, you can see part of the hair that came away, in the bottom left of the snap.

gentle henry

We called in on Henry again in Whitefield, Greater Manchester.

You remember Henry ? He’s a Persian, and he’s around 6 years old now.

This was our second visit to Henry, and just like last time he was very gentle, sweet and compliant.

pretty ruby

Here’s a new young lady for you to meet. This is 10 year old Ruby from Salford, Manchester.

Ruby had developed a pelt on her lower back/tail base, plus ad hoc mats around her body. Although Ruby was obviously sensitive around the pelt area, we clipped it away without any real fuss. She really did know what was going on.

Mum Joan later said

“… She seems a lot happier. Let’s you stroke her more. Obviously more comfortable without the mats. Best thing for me was she didn‘t have all the distress she normally has when going to the vets…. I was extremely pleased with whole service. Thanks again.”

It was so nice to see José’s coat growing back so beautifully, when we called in on him recently.

gentle sally

This pretty lady is Sally. From Chorley, Lancashire. 7 years old.

This friendly girl was in need of a brush out, and just a couple of knots had to come away. Overall though, Sally’s coat was in great condition.

Sally obliged during the session – and purred a lot throughout !

Persian Oliver from Winsford, Cheshire asked us to call in to see him again (and his housemate, Phoebe).

Oliver’s coat is always quite big – but he was extremely fluffy at our visit ! He’s not too keen on mum combing his tummy, so we clipped it back for ease going forward – followed by a good brush out of the rest of his coat.

“Both of them were absolutely shattered they slept like babies. They were definitely happier next day and their coats were lovely and silky. Thank you for trimming phoebe’s front nails as now she does not draw blood when attacking me.”

So good to hear the chicks are more comfy with their thinner coats !
