the cheek of it
Come and meet Agyness.
Agyness is a Silver Tabby Ragamuffin (a variant of the Ragdoll) and she’s just around 2 years old. She lives in Chorley, Lancashire.
Today was Agyness’ first professional groom and what a good girl she was ! A little bit fidgety, but settled as the Session progressed. We heard a cheeky little growl from time to time but nothing a little fuss couldn’t sort out.
Here’s Agyness feeling a little lighter, after removal of a pelt on her side and underneath. The rest of her thick coat benefitted from a great brush ou
a real lady
16 year old Smoky from Blackpool, Lancashire needed some help with her coat as it had become pelted and clumpy.
We took most of the hair on her tummy and rear quarters away – and ad hoc clipping on the rest of her torso. All followed by a good brush out.
We know she feels a whole lot more comfy now !
stunning tilly
Here’s our friend Maine Coon Tilly in Blackpool, Lancashire – just after her latest maintenance Session.
We held the Session outside in the cat house. Much cooler, and Tilly seems to enjoy the breeze during the Session.
Well done Tilly – our best Session for a while, chick !
miss meascha
Here’s little miss Maine Coon Meascha from Bury, Greater Manchester. Who remembers Meascha ?
We always have a purry, stretchy, friendly Session – with Meascha helping by washing her chest and paws !
the birman sisters
Who remembers these to young Birman ladies ? Lily and Daisy from Preston, Lancashire.
They’ve been with their new mum and dad for almost a year now and their lives have been turned around. They are now confident, loving girls – who demand attention and demand a good combing !
Today was all about nails. A manicure/pediucure and pad trim – just to keep them in tip top shape. Nice seeing you girls !
baby misty
Young Maine Coon Misty – always friendly, always welcoming, always ready to participate in her Session.
No problems today with Misty’s coat. Just a gentle work through, and a good fuss !
the urmston chicks
We called in to see the 3 Urmston chicks again recently, for their manicure/pedicure Sessions.
Although the 2 girls – Tiger Lily and Florence – aren’t keen, there was no fuss. They used to be quite nervous, but now a better description is apprehensive – so, it is getting easier for them.
Oscar ? Oh, ever the friendly, dapper young man. He likes to be in the action – whatever the action is ! Here he is, in the middle piccie.
Nice seeing you all again chicks !
a real redhead
A new girl to join us … Scarlet from Fence, Lancashire.
Breed ? Scarlet is a Maine Coon. She is almost 4 years old – and isn’t keen on being brushed, therefore her coat had become pelted in places.
We worked through, and although Scarlet really didn’t agree with proceedings we think she knew what it was all about. There’s no doubt that after the session she was immediately pleased with herself and was feeling more comfy.
A few weeks after the Session, mum Karen got in touch to say
“Scarlet is great – I don’t think she is sleeping as much and she’s not obsessively grooming – I’m sure she’s aware that her fur’s better. She’s always been perky but I think her fur may have been getting her down because, if anything, she seems even perkier ! She’s letting us stroke where the knots were (she wouldn’t let us touch her flanks when the knots were there). Andrew has managed to keep her knot free so far ! As for more affectionate – she’s never been anything else – I don’t think we could cope with any more from her – we’d never get anything done 🙂 I would definitely recommend your services to anyone in our position because I think for us and Scarlet it’s money well spent. Thank you very much from us and Scarlet 🙂 “
radiant red
This guy needs little introduction.
Who knows Red !!!!
Siberian (Siberian Forest Cat). 3 years old. Sandbach. Cheshire. Friendly ? Oh Yes !
Here he is, looking very sleek after his latest maintenance Session.
a lovely lady
… and here’s Lizzie. Maine Coon Lizzie that is. Lizzie from Altriincham, Cheshire.
Lizzie’s such a gentle, friendly Brown Tabby with a lovely, thick, long coat. We’ve met up with Lizzie a few times now and although she’s not that keen, she tolerates proceedings.
A few snags here and there were worked through, followed by a Brush Out to remove excess hair.
Nice seeing you again Lizzie !
