Victor in Salford, Manchester called us up again, to take a look at his coat.
We last met up with 5 year old Victor the Siberian Forest Cat during the summer of last year. At that point Victor’s coat was quite heavily matted and we took a large portion of it away. Victor was very squirmy on the grooming table, although he fared well as it was a difficult session – working through the pelt on his back and sides.
Today – Well, Victor obviously remembered what it was all about and after the initial 2 minutes, he lay quite contently on the table whilst we got to work on his coat. In fact, he spent much of the session grooming himself ! Every time the clippers started, he started grooming again ! We took small ad-hoc areas away and the rest of this coat benefitted from a thorough brush out.
After the session, mum Anna said
“Just a (slightly belated) note to say thanks once again for your expertise and patience with Victor and especially Clyde last week ! They’re looking very sleek and happy, and Victor even let out a little purr when I was brushing him yesterday so no more pretending not to like it ! Clyde still looks at the comb with utter disdain whenever I pick it up, but I’m working on it ! Thanks again x”
