We met up with Maine Coon Misty in Oldham, Greater Manchester for her routine maintenance Session.
Misty’s coat is beginning to become just a little bit thicker now … showing we’re moving towards the darker, winter months.
Did you know that coat growth/shedding is triggered by daylight, rather than temperature. So, as the nights draw in and the days become shorter the Winter coat begins. Then in the Spring, as the day light becomes longer we see the big shed, ready for a lighter summer coat.
