Remember 6 year old gentle Alfie ? Maine Coon Alfie resides in Flixton, Manchester with his mum and dad – and housemates.
We last met up with Alfie just a few weeks ago. At that point his coat was a little knotty and we took small areas away with the clippers, but he did tolerate the comb well so we had a serious brush out. Today’s session was also a brush out. One or 2 small tangles were developing around the armpits and the rest of his coat benefitted from a work through.
Alfie is quite a nervous guy but he obviously remembered our last get together as today he was noticeably less anxious. He lay quietly on the grooming table whilst we got to work and was even kneading and purring at times.
