happy harvey
We last met up with Harvey in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire about 4 months ago. You may remember that Harvey was rescued from the streets, where we think he’d been living for at least a year.
He’s been with his new mum for around 4 years now and guess that he’s around 8 years old. He sure has landed on his feet and now has the Life of Riley.
He’s a looker alright, and is also quite distinguishable as a polydactyl . Cats normally have 5 digits (1 Dew claw and 4 fingers) on each of their front paws, and 4 digits on each of the rear feet. Polydactyls may have as many as 8 on some/all of their feet.
Today’s session was far less energetic (on Harvey’s part !) than last time. Although he still had a couple of moments, in the main Harvey was more relaxed whist we worked through his long, thick coat. We know he’ll be feeling a lot lighter now !
Really well done Harvey and looking forward to seeing you again in the Autumn time.
