cool sessions
For our Sessions, it’s really important that we have a cool atmosphere.
We’ll warm as we go, but a warm or hot start really doesn’t make for a comfortable session. Your cat will overheat and s/he’ll quickly become unhappy. As a last resort to cool down, s/he will pant.
When choosing the room for our Session, we need good daylight – but we don’t want to set up in direct sunlight. A conservatory is not a good option during the warmer months, but may be ideal during the winter. Against a window ledge is great as it makes the best of the natural light coming into the room, as long as the sun isn’t shining in directly.
Please make sure the Session room is well ventilated and as cool as possible leading up to the Session. Windows open, door open etc – if necessary. We’ll set a quiet fan up (which we’ll bring along) to help during the Session.
Thanks !
