pretty jessica
Give a big welcome to new girl on the block, Jessica in Sale, Manchester.
Jessica is a tabby Maine Coon and she’s around 2.5 years old.
We were called in to take a look at Jessica’s coat as it had developed a few mats. She had actually managed to remove some of them herself before we arrived for the appointment. There were just a couple remaining on her chest and around the rear quarters / trousers.
A very inquisitive, friendly girl ! A little fidgety on the grooming table, but all forgotten straight away afterwards as she got back to playing with her fishing rod toy.
After the session, mum Linda and dad Mike said
“We cannot thank and recommend Sandra enough. Sandra sorted out our MC Jessica’s rear end clumping and gave us some helpful tips. Jessica is already more jaunty and strutting her stuff. We will definitely ask Sandra to return in early spring when Jessica’s winter coat returns. Sandra is a lovely person, presents a very professional approach and very attentive to detail.”
bonny bailey
Who remembers our Bailey from Alderley Edge, Cheshire ?
At around 10 years old, Bailey is the most sweet, loving boy you could meet. He enjoys spending time out in his garden, or going for a walk on his harness.
Bailey’s coat had thickened up a little for winter. Not fully there yet by any means, but heavier than last time we saw him during the Autumn.
No knots to speak of, we had a gentle brush out and trimmed Bailey’s pads and bib. … and although he’d rather have been back in bed – thanks – he was such a good boy overall.
Well done Bailey boy !
how old ?
Here’s our friend 15 year old Maisie from Stretford, Manchester.
We had a lovely session, where Maisie lost A LOT of dead hair from her coat. She was very chilled and after the session she actually came back and had a sniff of the hand. That’s a first for Maisie – so she is definitely growing in confidence.
Well done Maisie !!
bonny buster
Maine Coon Buster was ready for his Lion Clip in Chorlton, Manchester recently.
He would always much rather be doing something else, but Buster is definitely finding our sessions easier as time goes on.
… and we know that he enjoys his short, back and sides afterwards !
miss macy
Maine Coon Macy in Manchester was very chilled and snuggly in her cat tree bed when we arrived for her session this time around.
She listened intently from the landing while we set up all the gear in the bathroom and wasn’t at all bothered as she was placed on the grooming table. We began the session well – a few bits and bobs needed to be clipped away, followed by a good brush out. Macy’s coat is really thickening up for winter already.
Macy kept her patience for the most part and deserves a gold star as it was quite a long session for her.
Well done Macy, see you again soon chicky !
fluffy fluff
Here’s a little boy who we saw some time ago, who slipped through the net … Fluff from Blackburn, Lancashire.
Fluff is around 9 years old and is lives with his housemate and family. He has a long coat, which was in good condition. Just a little tangle under the chin needed clipping away.
A friendly boy, but a little upset about having his coat inspected and worked on … and really, you’d nothing to worry about Fluff !
happy holly
Holly in Padiham, Lancashire was ready for her brushout when we called in to see her recently. Her coat is really beginning to thicken up for the winter.
It was a very calm, gentle session with the usual chit chat from Holly. It was all soooo interesting !
Nice seeing you again Holly … You’re looking after your coat very well !

handsome skyfall
Skyfall is just turned 3 years old and he hangs out in Altrincham, Cheshire. He’s a Himalayan Persian – with the coat to prove it ! (ie. it’s thick !).
Not keen on mum brushing him, Sky had developed some matted areas around his torso. The usual areas – underneath, armpits, etc.
We took away quite a section down one side, and were able to brush out more on the other. It’s often the case that cats are more sensitive / dislike being groomed on one side, more than the other.
After the session (which we split into 2 for Sky’s benefit), Sky was obviously very proud of himself. He even hung around to watch the clearing up !
We going to hold regular sessions to keep on top of Sky’s thick coat – and keep his tummy short to help maintenance between sessions.
dinky dolly
Dolly’s thick Persian cross coat was ready for its brush out when we met up again recently. It’s obviously turning winter-ish up there in Carnforth, Lancashire !
As good as gold, was Dolly during her session. In fact, she was such a good girl, helping with proceedings !
Have a look at the video clip on facebook to see just what we mean ….. !
