big boy bear !
Our Pin Up boy today is 16 month old Maine Coon Bear from Hoghton, Lancashire. Bear’s becoming a big boy !!
This was Bear 3rd session, and it was a very settled affair. Non of the previous cheeky, playfulness (trying to bat the comb !) – but relaxed and enjoying all the fuss and attention that goes with a groom.
Bear’s coat held a few knots here and there which we zipped away, followed by a good brush through.
Well done Bear !!
lovely rhianna
Rhianna, a 6 year old Maine Coon from Leyland, Lancashire joined us recently.
Mum and dad had called us in as Rhianna had developed a few knots underneath. As Rhianna isn’t too keen on being groomed, these were proving difficult to work through.
Everyone would agree that Rhianna wasn’t pleased to find herself on the grooming table. She knew a few naughty words, and wasn’t afraid to use her teeth and nails to try to halt proceedings.
However, the dirty deed had to be done, and now Rhianna has a knot free, brushed out coat – which will give mum and dad a starting point going forwards.
Nice meeting you, Rhianna chick !
cheeky chester
British Short Hair Chester from Warrington, Cheshire was ready for his brushout when we met up with him recently.
At 3 years old, this was his first professional groom – and his coat was carrying lotttttts of dead hair.
Chester obviously isn’t used to be being told what to do and he participated with limited enthusiasm !
Here’s Chester after his session – feeling lots lighter … and pretending to be shy !
Following the session, mum Kate said
“Chester looked amazing after you came, before and he was jumping around like a kitten ! He has shed far less hair too, which is great for my furniture !”
sleek eloise
Maine Coon Eloise from Hoghton, Lancashire was looking pretty sleek after her latest session.
We took away a few knots and had a good brush out to relieve her of all that excess hair.
Although Eloise would much rather have been doing something else, she let us get on with the job in hand. She really does know it’s all for her benefit.
Nice seeing you again Eloise !
alluring aleera
Here is 2 year old Siberian Forest Cat Aleera in Warrington, Cheshire.
We called in to meet Aleera for a brushout. Her coat was in real good condition as mum and dad are well on top of it. Just one teeny weeny knot on her rear which came away easily. Aleera didn’t even notice !
Nice session, Aleera. Well done !
miss meascha
Maine Coon Meashca in Oldham, Greater Manchester enjoyed her latest session recently.
She always has a good wash whilst the gear is being set up, then purrs her way through the brushout.
Good girl Meashca !
mr abu
Meet Abu ! Abu is 9 years old and lives on The Wirral, Merseyside. He’s a Persian who was rescued by mum from the middle east. One lucky Persian ? Yes ! – Abu is adored !
Abu’s coat is enormous, as a Persian – and it was beginning to get a bit knotty, mainly around the legs and trousers.
So, we decided a clip and fresh start was the best approach for Abu. He has had a clip before so he knew what it was all about, but today he was a little fidgety.
After the Session, mum Pauline said
“Abu is a very happy cat after his grooming. He is very affectionate, continually purring and washing. We are sure he is so pleased with his Lion Clip as he keeps sitting in front of the mirror admiring himself. Luckily the weather remains mild as he still wants to sit outside and has to be coaxed in with treats. All in all a good experience being groomed at home”
Good stuff ! Looking forward to your next clip in a few weeks time Abu …
bonnie bola
Chinchilla Persian Bola enjoyed her maintenance brush out recently in Preston, Lancashire.
She’s moved house recently but is settling into her new environment well.
Bola looks after her coat herself so well, with a helping hand from mum. Today, there were no knots to contend with, just excess fluff to remove !
Well done Bola !
handsome harvey
We called in to see Harvey again in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire.
Harvey is a sweet guy – with a biiiiig coat !
Also, Harvey is polydactyl. This means he has extra digits (toes/nails) on each foot. It’s important to keep an eye on the extra ties to make sure the nail doesn’t overgrow. They often don’t touch the floor, therefore don’t naturally wear down.
After the session, mum Lauren said
“….as always, fantastic service from you and as I’ve said many times, not sure what we would do without you ! You managed to work your way through his massive coat and Harv was certainly more relaxed this time round. It’s not just the fantastic grooming services you offer.. its the advice you give and the love and dedication to our furry babies… Yet again, a wonderful session and we always look forward to seeing you. See you for his spring pamper session !! A big thank you from us both x”
Nice session, Harvey. Well done !
a shining star
We met up again with 18 month old Long Haired Exotic Star Lord in Chester, Cheshire recently.
Star Lord is a real sweet guy. His coat is always full on (he’s a Persian by some definitions) but this time around it was at it’s fullest.
It was a lonnnngg session, but Star Lord’s interaction was great. He used to be a real fidget, but he’s allowing himself to chill now during parts of the session.
Star Lord particularly LOVES his little snow shoes hair being trimmed. He stretches out his toes to help !
