young yasmine
Here’s little Persian Yasmine in Oldham, Greater Manchester where she lives with her sisters and famiy.
When we first met up with Yasmine a few weeks ago, her coat was pelted and we took it away for a fresh start.
Today, we clipped Yasmine back again. It was a much easier session for her today as there were no mats to contend with.
Well done Yasmine … Looking forward to seeing you again soon !
miss kizz
It was Kizzy’s turn once again for her maintenance session in Huyton, Liverpool.
As you may remember, Kizzy is finding her sessions so much easier these days. In fact, her attitude towards her sessions has turned around dramatically.
Before we met up with Kizzy for the first time, she would go off to the vets for a de-mat under anaesthetic. We decided to try a new approach.
Our first get together was heated to say the least, but each time we meet up, Kizzy is finding proceedings easier. This is because, as well as knowing there’s nothing to worry about, she is also feeling so much better about herself with her easier to manage coat. In fact, mum says her whole demeanour has changed. Lovely to hear !
young sabih
Here’s a fresh young face for you to meet !
This is Sabih, and he is a Ragdoll from Preston, Lancashire. At just 9 months old, Sabih was introduced to his first professional grooming session.
He got the idea pretty quickly. Although woud rather not have had his rear quarters inspected, he fared well – and we had a good brush out to remove ad hoc knots and tangles.
… oh and so nosey …. Sabih just couldn’t keep away after the session, In and out, in and out … Nice session, Sabih !
A few days later, mum Laika said
“…thank you so much for coming over to groom my furbabies .. They are definitely much more comfier and happier and loads more self grooming … My Sabih is much more affectionate than normal too … “
lily lou
Lily. British Longhair. 13 years old. Preston. Lancashire.
We meet up with Lily on a regular basis to keep on top of her long thick coat.
Lily is never keen on her sessions, but more recently anti-inflamatory medication seems to have helped her comfort during her brush outs.
lovely pearl
Selkirk Rex variant Pearl was pleased to see us when we met up with her again recently in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
She came noseying in the room, whilst we set up with gear – and wanted a fuss.
Pearl’s coat was ready for a brush out to rid it of lots of dead hair – athough there were no knots or snags to deal with.
Afterwards ? What a happy little chick, totally pleased with herself !
Well done Pearl !
chester from warrington
Who remembers Chester ?
Chester is a 4 year old British Shorthair (BSH) from Warrington, Cheshire. Today was his 2nd home visit, and although it’s fair to say that Chester still wasn’t enamoured by the thoughts of his session, he was much more settled than last time.
As a BSH, Chester’s coat is dense and always ready for a thinning ! Even though it’s the warmer months, Chester still felt much lighter after his session !
In the piccie on the left you can see how Chester’s coat was thick, separated and clumping before his session. In the top piccie at the end of his session, he’s nice and smooth !
friendly oliver
It was maintenance clip time for Oliver in Bolton, Greater Manchester recently.
Oliver’s coat had regrown soooo quicky ! What are you eating, Oliver ?! Super food ?!! So, we took it back once again for an easier life all round for everyone.
Sessions are definitely becoming easier for Oliver. Much less fidgety today – which means we can get on with more speed, Oliver ! Been trying to tell you this for a while !!
mr harry
Mr Harry was such a good boy when we met up for his recent maintenance session. He’s knows what it is all about now and that he always feels better for it afterwards.
Our session in Huyton, Liverpool was a very calm, obliging affair. Mr Harry is a Persian, and even though we’re now into the summer months his coat was still extra full, with a few knots here and there.
Good as gold was Mr Harry, as we worked through his session ! Well done little boy !
pretty mitzy
It was recently time once again to call in on Ragdoll Mitzy from Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Last time we met up with 6 years old Mitzy, we had a full session. Today, a manicure/pedicure alone was on the cards.
Such a good girl, Mitzy ! No fuss !
Looking forward to seeing you again in a few weeks for another full groom !
such a beau
This young man is Bowie and he’s been with his new mum and dad in Altrincham, Cheshire for just about 6 weeks. We think that he is around 3 years old.
Bowie’s a lovely young man, but extremely nervous. He’s settling in well and slowly gaining trust, but it’s going to take some time. He has lost one eye, so this compounds his nervousness.
Today, Bowie’s coat was in good condition. We worked underneath and around his rear quarter – much to Bowie’s displeasure. Not much hair came away. We took a couple of breaks, for Bowie’s comfort and realised that he was much happier laid on the kitchen worktop – which, obviously was familiar to him – than on the grooming table. Also, he was much more chilled out with the fan blowing directly in his face, to cool him (the room was very hot).
Nice meeting you Bowie, and you’ve fallen on your feet ! Here’s a piccie of Bowie in his bed, after the session.
