little bola
Here’s Chinchilla Persian Bola in Preston, Lancashire. Who knows Bola ?
We had a very chatty session, as usual,. Meow meow meow meow meow … or something like that. Gosh, she has a lot to say that young woman.
A little later, and a lot lighter – Bola was feeling very pleased with her little self !
young george
This young man is George !!
George is a Chinchilla Persian cross from Chester, Cheshire and he has the life of luxury since finding his new mum and dad.
Although mum manages to keep on top of his coat, George is less than pleased and it is hard work for everyone. Today, George enjoyed a Clip to take his coat short.
Later, mum Vanessa said
“Many thanks for grooming George .. perfect timing for the heatwave ! ….. He is a lot happier after the grooming. Thanks again !”
Great to hear you’re feeling fresh, George ! You were a good boy !
gentle tigzz
Here’s a new guy to join us : Tigzz !
Tigzz is a 6 year old Siberian Forest Cat who lives in Wigan, Greater Manchester with his litter mate and family.
Tigzz is quite a nervous guy by nature, but he got into the swing of things like it was all old hat. He really knew what was going on from the start and – Yes, he enjoyed the 1:1 for sure ! A real calm, gentle session whilst we worked through his coat removing bits and bobs that he didn’t need and combed out the rest.
After the session, dad Paul said
“… the boys meow their thanks to you for making their coats nice and smooth again. I am really surprised at how you managed Tigzz. I had the district nurse and paramedics on standby. He is a very timid little fellow bordering ferral at times. Very willing to show his claws but can also be very loving on occasions ..”
No claws, just smiles ! Well done Tigzz !
sleek elvis
Elvis in Middleton, Greater Manchester was his usual friendy self during his latest Lion Clip to transform him from a hairy little number to a sleek young man.
This is necessary for Elvis, as his natural Persian coat is so cotton wool-y it is so difficult to keep on top of. He is always much happier after his session !
mr sky
Here’s Skyfall … Posing for the camera after his latest maintenance session in Altrincham, Cheshire.
Mum’s doing a real good job keeping on top of Sky’s thick Persian coat. He’s certainly getting used to their sessions, and is so much more accepting. Underneath is still a little tricky for him, so during the last few sessions we’ve decided to keep under there short for ease.
Looking good, Sky !
sweetie simba
Who remembers this little guy ? That’s right – It’s Persian Simba from Didsbury, Manchester.
Simba recently enjoyed his 3rd session and what a good boy he was ! A little fidgety at first, but soon got the idea and settled well.
His coat was growing back nicely from his previous session, and today was a timely maintenance session. A brush out and Belly Clip. Keeping his little tum and armpits short helps keep him knot free under there !
Here’s the little smiler after his session !
lovely maisie
We called in again to see older lady Maisie in Stretford, Manchester. Maisie is now around 16 years old.
Maisie suffers from arthritis so her joints are a little creaky. We had a gentle session and – athough we see her regularly – her coat was definitely ready for the session. She has a short coat, and it was aready starting to become clumpy in places.
chilled mary
Young British Shorthair (BSH) Mary from Altrincham, Cheshire was her usual chilled (but nosey !), friendly self during her latest manicure session.
She just has to be in the action – Whatever the action is !
pat cat
Our latest visit to Persian Pat Cat in Blackpool, Lancashire resulted in a clip as more recently he’d decided that combing wasn’t for him, and his thick coat had become rather luggy. A fresh start was in order !
Mum Barbara later said
“On Saturday, Pat Cat had to submit to the inevitable. It’s simple science, if you refuse to be combed, Sandra will get the clippers out. Irrespective of a rather choice vocabulary and despite Herculean wriggling, his fate was sealed. Now sporting a rather fetching yet comedic lion cut, Pat is happily lug free and feeling extra cuddly.”
Glad you’re a comfy chick, Pat Cat … !!
lovely lily
Here’s Lily again from Preston, Lancashire.
This sweet 5 year old Birman lady now has her heels well under the table since being rescued by her new mum and dad at the start of the year.
It’s taken a while for Lily to settle, but now ? Oh, she’s there alright ! She even asks to be groomed every day, whereas at first she didn’t really want too much contact. Well done Lily !
