Come and meet Guy ! Guy is a brown tabby Maine Coon from Chester, Cheshire.
At around 13 years old, Guy needed some help with his coat. Sections had developed lumps and bumps, whilst the rest was extremely thick and would have been too difficult to comb out.
The only apprehension really around the Session, was how Guy was going to react to the clippers. He’s a very nervous boy and terrified of noises.
However, there was no need to worry as Guy settled into his session like a dream. First we clipped away the most offending pelt on his chest, and he went along with the idea no prob. As we progressed, he became a little fidgety, but no trouble – and certainly not scared.
We took most of Guy’s torso coat away for a fresh start. He was evidently feeling good about himself straight after the session as he kept having a little wash of his paws etc.
The day following the session, mum Laura fed back
“…. he was quite social yesterday actually and didn’t hide away or anything so I think he felt better in himself .. “

miss mindy
Here’s Mindy again from Astley, Manchester.
Mindy enjoys regular manicure sessions to keep her nails in check. She’s a house cat these days you see, so they don’t wear down as much as they used to.
Gentle and sweet as ever. Well done Mindy !
mitzy moo
This was the second time we’d met up with Ragdoll Mitzy in Bolton for a full groom (she has alternate manicure only sessions).
Mitzy’s coat was quite luggy underneath – particularly around the armpit and chest area. We took some away, and brushed out the rest of her thick coat.
Quite a strong minded girl, Mitzy thought about 20 mins was long enough for any session. However, we had to continue and listen along the way to a few swear words here and there. Language, Mitzy ! .… and volume !!
Afterwards ? Oh, all smiles and headbutts !
the tyldesley girls
We called in again on The Tyldesley girls for their maintenance manicures (and pedicures !).
Rosie (bottom left) was her usual cheeky self, but full of smiles before and after her session ! Young Lily (top right) is slowly gaining a little confidence, although she is still nervous about affairs.
Lucy – the boss (top left) – has been in residence the longest and isn’t keen but it was all over before she knew it ! … and Jess (black and white) was quite the usual star. Chilled and relaxed laid out on the grooming table enjoying the fuss …. errrr, we’ve finished now Jess !

young suri
Here is young Suri in Oldham, Greater Manchester after her latest Session. Who remembers Suri ?
We keep her thick Persian coat short as this is the best option for Suri. She’s not that keen on being combed, so this keeps her knot free.
Quite a little squirmy wormy today, but such a sweet girl with it – and afterwards she was trotting around pretty pleased with herself !

We caught up again with Luna in Hasingden, Lancashire recently.
Luna’s a real sweet girl, with a long, thick Maine Coon coat. She’s around 2 years old now – and quite big with it !
We took Luna’s belly short and pared down her innner thighs and bib for an easier life all round. It’s fair to say the Luna lost lots of fluff in the process and afterwards was feeling like a million dollars !
Following the session, mum said
“Thank you Sandra for sorting Miss Luna out today, she looks beautiful though she has washed herself to sleep!!”

Young Bear in Hoghton was pretty chilled during his latest maintenance Session.
Bear is 2 years old now and he’s a Maine Coon who can be found in Hoghton, Lancashire.
We had a good chat whist Bear’s coat was worked through. Always nice to hear what he’s been up to. It always all sounds so exciting from Bear’s perspective !

Maine Coon Misty in Heywood, Greater Manchester was a sweetie as usual when we called in on her again recently.
Misty’s session was the usual calm, gentle affair we’re used to. No knots to contend with, just a brush out to make her lighter, and a thin out around the rear quarters and bib.

3 year old Persian Esta from Oldham, Greater Manchester was feeling a whole lot more comfy after her latest maintenance clip.
It was a fidgety session but her coat was in good shape as we caught it in good time. However, it very soon would have started matting again so the session was timely.
Well done Esta ! See you again in a few weeks time !

Star Lord in Chester, Cheshire doesn’t seem to realise he should be wearing his summer coat at the moment. When we called in on him recently he was quite the fluff ball.
Such a sweet little guy. Star Lord enjoyed his usual armpit, hygiene and paw trim, followed by a good thinning out elsewhere. See the piccie of the hair that came away during his brush out !
Oh – He was was a tiny bit fidgety, but nothing a bit a sweet talk couldn’t sort out.
