cheeky chester
British Shorthair (BSH) Chester’s coat is always plush, dense and ready for a good work through. True to its breed !
Chester had a great tale to tell today in Warrington, Cheshire. Meow meow …. All about his recent holiday, and what he’d been getting up to since our last visit. That was inbetween the snoozing.
Nice seeing you again Chester !
mrs mindy
Gentle Mindy from Manchester always feels comfier after her nail trim.
Mindy is a house cat, so we meet up regularly to keep Mindy’s nails in check.
happy horatio
Here’s Persian Horatio in Liverpool – looking rather smart just after his latest maintenance Session.
You would never guess that Horatio had a Belly Clip – he has plenty more floof to hide the fact ! He also enjoyed a Hygiene and Bib Trim to make life easier all round.
Looking great, Horatio !
such a gent
It’s always great to catch up with gentle Albie in Manchester for his maintenance manicure.
Following an injury to his fore foot, Albie doesn’t get around or exercise as much as he used to, therefore his nails don’t wear down. So, it’s important we keep an eye on them so they don’t overgrow.
gentle schmuley
Schmuley ! A nervous – but inquisitive ! – young man from Didsbury, Manchester.
We’d been called to help remove pelted areas from Schmuley’s coat, as an alternative to anaesthetic, which had been suggested elsewhere.
The Session went very well. Moments of panic, interwined with definite relaxation. Schmuley managed to chil to the point of closing his eyes at points and going with the flow. In fact, when the comb/clippers weren’t in his line of vision, they didn’t bother him at all.
A few days after the Session mum Pauline reported
“Schmuley is doing well. [Daughter] is convinced he’s calmer and he seems to be spending a bit more time at home. He certainly doesn’t hold a grudge. He let us give him a brief brush and we’re trying to remove seeds etc from him coat each day. I might get a relaxation cd to help him chill. Thanks once again – you worked magic on him …… We were so impressed that you were able to coax him into cooperating seeing as he is a bit nervous. He seems to have forgiven us and is letting us brush him more than he used to and is looking mighty fine!”
Good stuff ! Thanks for the update Pauline ! Well done Schmuley !
the urmston chicks
Hands up if you recognise these chicks ?
That’s right – The Urmston gang !
Manicure/pedicures were the order of the day for these house cats.
Everyone is used to the process. One usually insists on showing his belly afterwards. Can you guess which one ?!
miss eleanor
We called in again to see Eleanor from Rossendale, Lancashire recently.
One Belly Clip, Brush Out, Bib and Trouser Trim later, Eleanor was feeling much fresher !
Mind you, that after she had to be rudely awoken for her Session !
happy harry
We caught up with Mr Harry in Liverpool again for a good work through.
A large section on his coat came away for a fresh start and the rest was combed out.
Was Harry a good boy ? When is he not ?!
gentle rupert
Here’s young Rupert in Manchester after his Session.
Rupert is around 2 years old and he is a Maine Coon / Persian cross. He has the size of a Persian, with much Persian-y undercoat to be kept on top of.
Rupert had a Belly Clip today, and pelt removal around his rear quarters and trouser area.
A very sweet, gentle boy. A little nervous and quite fidgety, but non-the-less, Rupert was able to comply whilst his coat was worked through.
Great Session, Rupert !
lovely luna
A Belly Clip and Brush Out were on the cards today for 4 year old Maine Coon Luna from Rossendale, Lancashire. She also enjoyed a Bib and Trouser Trim, to make life easier on a day to day basis.
Luna is a very gentle girl, who really does like a bit of a fuss on the quiet. As usual, Luna was very compliant and was even snoozing through parts of the Session. She much prefers it quiet – so her Session was a ‘no talking’ affair. This really does help her to relax.
