When we caught up with British Shorthair (BSH) Stanley in Bolton, Greater Manchester he was his usually gentle self.
As a BSH, Stanley has a short, dense coat which is always ready for a brush out. Today, not as much on top, but thicker around the flanks and undersides.
Great session, Stanley. Nice seeing you again !

Gentle Persian Hercules from Padiham, Lancashire was due his regular maintenance session recently.
Today, Hercules was much more confident during his Session. He knows now what it’s all about – and that he feels so much better after a good brush out.

It was nice to meet up again with fluff ball Bailey in Chester, Cheshire recently.
His coat was fluffy, but not yet quite in winter mode. Bet that eruption is in full swing by next Session, Bailey !

Here’s Maine Coon Eloise from Hoghton, Lancashire after her latest maintenance Session.
Eloise is never keen on the idea of her Sessions but she fared very well today with her Belly Clip and Brush Out.
What she does like are her photo shoots. She really knows how to pose for a piccie !

Dinky Dolly …. Who remembers Dolly ?
Dolly lives in Carnforth, Lancashire and we meet up with her regularly to keep on top of her Persian coat. It’s sooo long, Dolly !
Just one or two lugs were removed and a heck of a thorough brush out to remove lots of excess hair.
Dolly helped by having a comprehensive wash whilst all this was going on. Thanks Dolly !

Here’s 12 year old Persian Molly in Prescot, Merseyside.
Molly enjoys a regular maintenance Session as her natural coat is so enormous and it’s that difficult-to-brush cotton wooly hair.
Molly is always as good as gold and usually enjoys a good snooze – then wakes up looking like a million dollars !
petite daisy
Petite Daisy from the Wirral enjoyed her brush out today. It was around 3 months ago that we took her coat away for a fresh start. Today, it had really grown back nicely and surprisingly quickly, too.
To date, Daisy has been fidgety during her Sessions. That’s fidgety with a captial F. In fact, all uppercase. FIDGETY.
Today’s session was a much more chilled affair. Daisy really got the hang of the goings on, and the second half of the session in particular, was very chilled.
In fact, afterwards – Daisy remained on the table of her own accord whilst we were cleaning up. She was just looking out into the garden and watching any movement with interest. For a good 15 minutes !
