Harley from Chorley, Lancs was ready for his maintenance Session, there is no doubt. Harvey is quite a nervous guy and he’s not keen on being on the grooming table. Not a bad bone in his body – he just tries to leave the scene.

Maine Coon Geoffrey was keeping a keen eye out in the garden, after his latest maintenance Session in Altrincham, Cheshire. He was just making sure that his favourite groomer was leaving the premises ….!
We had a good brush out today and removed one or two lugs along the way. Geoff said that he felt great afterwards !

Persian Thalia in Preston, Lancs was ready for a de-mat and brush out, when we caught up with her recently.
8 year old Thalia is such a gentle girl and she made no fuss as we worked through her coat.

It’s always great to be able to help a chick who is having problems with her coat.
A few weeks ago we met up with Lilly from Hyde, Greater Manchester.
Later mum Nicola said :
“I have 6 year old female Maine Coon cat Called Lilly.
She’s quite a timid girl especially around strangers so when I booked her in with Sandra for her first ever professional groom I was slightly worried about how she would react. I quickly realised this wouldn’t be a problem at all.
Sandra arrived in plenty of time before the appointment and we introduced her to Lilly, who by this time was desperately trying to escape!! She kept talking to her whilst setting up her equipment so that Lilly could get used to her voice which seemed to work a treat. By the time she started grooming Lilly she was settled an purring away.
Apart from the fact that she now looks amazing, the change in her mood is unbelievable. She’s more affectionate, happy and all round more content, which is lovely to see.
I will definitely be using Sandra again and would recommend her services to anyone. This is a lady who genuinely loves cats and they must be able to sense this as Lilly was very taken by her and looking forward to her next session.”
Fabby ! Thanks Nicola … and soooo pleased that Lilly is comfy. She was a star during her Session !

Persian Radek in Newton le Willows, Merseyside was recently on our appointment schedule.
Today, Radek benefitted from a Belly Clip and Brush Out.
It’s fair to say that Radek wasn’t in the mood for his Session, but we know that afterwards he was feeling pretty good about himself !

Young Persian Coco enjoyed her first Session today with EssentiallyPurrfect in Preston, Lancashire. The Session has been planned for quite some time, but had been delayed through one thing or another.
We had a Brush Out with a Hygiene and Trouser Trim. This will make life easier for everyone as Coco’s not fond of being combed around there, and it will make toileting an easier affair.
Quite fidgety on the grooming table – and cheeky with it !

Although Persian Aslan’s coat was letting up a bit for summer, there was still a humungous amount of excess floof to come away when we saw him recently in Warrington, Cheshire !

How old do you think Jose is ?
This guy – who fell on his feet some time ago, when he found his new mum and dad – lives in Edenfield, Greater Manchester.
We think he’s around 18-19 years old.
Jose was ever so patient when we met up with him again this time around. His coat easily gets matted. Jose has a thyroid condition, which lends itself to an unkempt coat, and sensitivity when combing. Hence he’s not that keen on being brushed, hence the knots spiral … a vicious circle.
However, Jose always scrubs up well !

Fluffy Thomas in Wigan, Greater Manchester’s coat seems to be getting thicker – not lightening up for Summer !
Lots of excess fluff came away today, and Thomas was such a good boy on the grooming table. He used to find his Sessions troublesome, but he’s ever so chilled these days !
