master milo
We met up with Exotic Milo recently in Hale, Cheshire. We already knew his housemate, but this was the first time for Milo.
A very gentle young man, just 12 months old.
Milo was a little fidgety to begin with but became ever so chilled as the Session progressed … and he loved the slicker brush !
Milo’s coat was thick, but not clumpy – although it was starting to get so around the usual areas of shoulders, chest and rear quarters.
A great Session. Real well done Milo !
such a beaut
Who remembers Bella from Preston, Lancashire ?
Bella is a Persian cross and she is a fluffy bunny to say the least. She has that long fluff on top of her coat – like a British Longhair.
Today, Bella enjoyed a Belly Clip and a good de-shed to make her feel more comfy, together with a particular work through arund her flanks which were clumpy.
Nice seeing you again Bella !
mr monty
Here’s Maine Coon Monty from Altrincham, Cheshire.
Such a gentle boy, Monty’s coat was truly enormous today and ready for a real good work through. When we’d removed half of the garden debris – twigs, leaves etc – Monty was just half the size and feeling comfy !
Nice seeing you again Monty !
dotty
Ragdoll Dorothy from Preston, Lancashire was on our schedule recently.
Dorothy’s coat was quite light, with mainly fluff to come away. Dorothy wasn’t as keen as we were, for it to come away but she humoured us.
Nice seeing you again Dorothy !
a persian sky
A Belly Clip and Brush Out were on the agenda for Skyfall today in Altrincham, Cheshire.
Sky’s coat was much thinner today, for the summer. He fared well. Sky is never keen on his legs/feet being worked on – nor being combed under his chin. He puts his paw up to hold the comb at a distance …. but his belly, back and sides he does find much easier these days.
Well done Sky !
kizzy whiz
Although we hadn’t see her for a while, Persian Kizzy’s coat wasn’t too knotty when we caught up with her in Liverpool, Merseyside.
Kizzy has become more more amenable to her Sessions over the last 2 or 3 years. Before that, she used to go under anaesthetic at the vets for a de-pelt.
Now, we’re able to keep on top of her curly wurly coat. Although it would be stretching it to say that she enjoyed her Sessions, she is able to hold her temper for the most part.
Nice seeing you again Kizzy ! Here’s a piccie from a previous Session as we didn’t manage one this time around.
snowball
There were no lugs to be found on Snowy when we called in on him in Preston, Lancashire.
His coat was, as ever, sooooo fluffy and we took lots of it away for his comfort.
A cautious but friendly boy – Snowy was full of himself afterward the Session !
just who loves sweet talk
Himalayan Persian Spirit was a real good boy during his recent maintenance Clip in Stockport, Cheshire.
Spirit is always a very gentle boy. Loving, and enjoys lots of fuss and sweet talk.
Here he is – feeling a lot lighter after his Session.
our giz
We recently met up with 13 year old Gizmo in Horwich, Greater Manchester – for a manicure/pedicure.
Gizmo has previously been to the vets, under anaesthetic, for her nails to be clipped. So, we decided to give a home Session a try, as an alternative.
It worked well. It’s fair to say that Gizmo wasn’t keen – but she fared well and it was all over before she knew it. She’s a lovely girl and was very friendly beforehand – and ever so pleased with herself afterwards !
Dad David later said
“Thank you Sandra for sorting out Gizmo’s nails. She was the calmest I’ve ever seen her with a stranger. Fantastic job (very impressed).”
Well done Gizmo !
mrs mabel
This chick always takes a good piccie … which is difficult for a black cat.
When we met up with Mabel in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire recently her coat was fairly enormous. Only a few lugs were taken away, but in general Mabel’s coat was far too thick.
We had an incredible brush out and here is the little lady, sporting her Spring Collection !
(Don’t worry, Mabel – there’s still plenty left !)
