is yours a typist ?
Every time we leave the laptop unattended for a few minutes, when we return to is it’s either in Flight Mode, or some little feet has been trying to access an obscure website (like this one on the right !).
Will have to start closing the lid down, so little paws can’t walk all over the keyboard !
Do yours type too ?
What is the weirdest / funniest thing they have written ….? Come over to our facebook page and tell us !
lovely merlin
This handsome young man is 18 month old Merlin. Merlin is a Tabby Maine Coon who lives in Abram, Wigan, Greater Manchester.
We called in to see Merlin as his coat had become thick and in need of a good brush out, with a couple of small tangles that needed to be removed.
Merlin – Well, what can we say. Such a mild mannered, gentle, friendly young man. He was inquisitive around our gear and helped somewhat with the set-up. He’s not had a professional groom before and it took him a good while to settle into the session. However, once there, we think he really began to enjoy it ! He had his head laid on the table, purring away whilst we brushed (we had done the naughty bits – tummy/flanks/back end – by this point) and nearing the end of the session he actually licked our fingers. A thank you !
Afterwards, Merlin went to top up at the filling station, then out for a wander in the garden.
Following the session, mum Leanne told us :
“Thank you so much for Merlin’s groom on Saturday. A large Maine Coon boy, he’s not the most patient cat and really appreciate the time and effort involved. He looks fab and obviously feels much better as a result.”
Nice to meet you Merlin – Such a good boy …. !
do you need more ?
Hands up if you can relate to this ?!
Why not pop over to our facebook page and tell us all about it !!
lovely tilly
Tilly is a really sweet, 7 years old, Norwegian Forest Cat who lives in Davenham, Cheshire.
We met up with Tilly for a brush out. Her coat is in good condition as she looks after it well, and mum is able to comb her. Not a knot in sight and Tilly lay patiently whilst we worked through her coat.
Look at those lovely tufts under her pads. Love them !
Such a good girl, Tilly ! Well done !
gorgeous mylo
Mylo is a 2 year old Ragdoll who lives in Sharston, Manchester – and is brother to Diego.
Mylo has the most gorgeous coat, as mum is able to comb him through regularly. He just needed a little help with a brush out and thinning out his trousers.
It’s fair to say that Mylo would have rather been doing his usual Thursday activity – whatever that is – rather than being sat on the grooming table. However, he did well and after the session, looked even more gorgeous.
After the session, mum Lynn said :
“Thank you so much for trimming and grooming my ragdolls Diego and Mylo today, amazing job! Especially Diego’s lion cut he looks fab!”
[Diego’s piccies are posted separately]
After the session Mylo went straight off to catch up on that all important sleep he’d missed out on … Nice to meet you Mylo !
who’s the boss ?
This is certainly true in our house !
Is it the case in your house too ?
Why don’t you come over to our facebook page and tell us all about it !
radiant red
Red is a Siberian, and is now almost 12 months old. A big lad already, he lives with his family in Smallwood, Cheshire.
He is the most friendly, loving boy and it was nice to meet up with him again. A few weeks ago we clipped away some matted areas that had developed. Today the new coat is growing back nicely. Mum has really kept on top of the brushing, and his coat is in a lovely condition. We had a brush out today, whilst Red sunned himself by the window.
Well done Red, such a good boy. See you soon …
a cat’s paradise …

squirmy mo
Well – we told you we’d call you Squirmy, Mo !
This lovely little lady is almost 4 years old. She is a Persian, and she lives with her family in Liverpool, Merseyside.
Mo had developed some matting around her body which she needed help with. She had recently taken some of the area away by herself, which had begun to grow back.
By nature, Mo is quite a nervous little girl. She was apprehensive of the clippers to begin with, by soon seemed to take them in her stride. She chilled for parts of the session, when laying on her side .. but she did have moments of fidgety-ness (word ?!) when she told us that she’d rather be doing something else on a Saturday morning ! Choice language ! However, we don’t think she was afraid – just very fidgety !
Following the session, mum Jan said :
“Mo is much happier with her new look. She is more content and welcomes being groomed. She is also grooming herself more too. Thank you so much for your professional approach with Mo”
Well done Mo…… Such a brave girl !
milk or not ?
Did you know that cow’s milk can give your cat upset tummies, cramps and even severe diarrhoea ?
This is because their ability to digest the sugar in milk (lactose) reduces.
Water is all your cat will ever need, but lactose-free milk is available for cats if you wish to go down this avenue.
Some cats though won’t drink it. Ours won’t.
