Come and meet Betsy. We are not quite sure how old Betsy is. 12? 14? 16? 18? She lives with her mum in Liverpool, Merseyside.
Although Betsy’s coat is short, it is very plush and dense and as time has gone on, Betsy is less able to keep herself in tip top condition. Hence, her coat had become tufted and matted in places. Betsy’s coat is predominantly black – although most of the tips have grey/silver flecks. Maybe an age thing ?
Betsy has been known not to particularly like being combed, nor having her nails clipped. However, she was on her best behaviour today and lay very compliant whilst we got on with the job in hand. Lots and sweet talk and fuss ….. Oh, she lapped it up.
After the session, Betsy just couldn’t stay away … In and out of the room whilst the clearing up was going on. Just supervising – you know !
Mum Margaret later reported that since her session, Betsy has been more relaxed, not as vocal around the house and looks sleeker ! Well done Betsy ! The session has taken years off you !
