gentle henry

We called in on Henry again in Whitefield, Greater Manchester.

You remember Henry ? He’s a Persian, and he’s around 6 years old now.

This was our second visit to Henry, and just like last time he was very gentle, sweet and compliant.

pretty ruby

Here’s a new young lady for you to meet. This is 10 year old Ruby from Salford, Manchester.

Ruby had developed a pelt on her lower back/tail base, plus ad hoc mats around her body. Although Ruby was obviously sensitive around the pelt area, we clipped it away without any real fuss. She really did know what was going on.

Mum Joan later said

“… She seems a lot happier. Let’s you stroke her more. Obviously more comfortable without the mats. Best thing for me was she didn‘t have all the distress she normally has when going to the vets…. I was extremely pleased with whole service. Thanks again.”

It was so nice to see José’s coat growing back so beautifully, when we called in on him recently.

gentle sally

This pretty lady is Sally. From Chorley, Lancashire. 7 years old.

This friendly girl was in need of a brush out, and just a couple of knots had to come away. Overall though, Sally’s coat was in great condition.

Sally obliged during the session – and purred a lot throughout !

Persian Oliver from Winsford, Cheshire asked us to call in to see him again (and his housemate, Phoebe).

Oliver’s coat is always quite big – but he was extremely fluffy at our visit ! He’s not too keen on mum combing his tummy, so we clipped it back for ease going forward – followed by a good brush out of the rest of his coat.

“Both of them were absolutely shattered they slept like babies. They were definitely happier next day and their coats were lovely and silky. Thank you for trimming phoebe’s front nails as now she does not draw blood when attacking me.”

So good to hear the chicks are more comfy with their thinner coats !

Here’s a new chick to join us. Maxi from Stockport, Cheshire.

Maxi is around 3 years old and he is the sweetest guy you could meet.

However, although sweet – Maxi is verrrrryyy squirmy for mum. As good as gold though when he was on the grooming table and very complicit.

Nice meeting you, Maxi !! Not a great photo unfortunately – You can just about make out his eyes.

lily lou

It was time for British Long Hair Lily’s maintenance session recently. You can find Lily in Preston, Lancashire.

Ever so fluffy as ever – but only a couple of snags that needed to be zipped away. The rest of Lily’s coat benefited from a good brush out.

Lily’s never keen on her session, and today she told us as much in no uncertain terms. However, we know she’s always feeling a lot lighter afterwards !

Come and say a big Hi to a new friend – Albert ! A more gentle guy you could not meet !

We think that Albert is around 8 years old, and he lives with his dad in Umston, Manchester.

Although Albert does play out, he doesn’t exercise as much as he used to. He had an accident a few months ago and broke his front left leg. The vet has done all possible, but it obviously still gives him some trouble.
