A quiet girl, Maisie is now well used to her sessions. Quiet as in not boisterous or cheeky. Not quiet in that she likes to hear her own voice !

… and we know she always feels better afterwards, with her thinner coat. Well done Maisie !

DSCN3222A Alfie 230814 cropped+(c) Maine Coon Alfie is such a gentle boy. He’s 7 years old and lives in Urmston, Manchester.

Alfie is actually quite a nervous guy – until he gets on that grooming table, and then he really does chill and definitely enjoys all the fuss !

We had a great brush out and removes a few lugs along the way.

20160208_155251A Kizzy 080216 cropped+(c) Kizzy Whizz anyone ? Kizzy lives in Huyton, Liverpool and is a 7 year old Persian.

We’ve met up with Kizzy a few times now and although not enamoured (!), she definitely finds the sessions easier.

Also of great note is that her coat overall is in much better condition. It doesn’t seem as dry, and looks healthier.

Plus !! Kizzy has certainly been a happier chick since her original unruly coat was taken in hand and has been paired down.

Well done Kizzy Whizz !! See you again soon chick …

It was nice to catch up with British Short Hair (British Blue) Bella again in Manchester.

Bella has now been with her new mum for about 8 months and she really is settling in well into her new life.

She’s still not keen on being brushed – however, things are getting a little easier. Certainly with today’s session. Bella still wasn’t amused to realise it was session time again, but she did find it easier overall.

See you again soon, Bella … (Here’s Bella fixated on a squirrel that had been charging around outside the patio door disturbing her session !!)

A new chick to join us …… 18 year old Tinkerbell from Bolton, Greater Manchester !

We’d been asked to call in to see Tinkerbell as her short coat had become very thick and tufty, and matted in places.

Such a gentle girl. Tinkerbell was very patient and seemed to understand just what was going on as we began her brush out and removal of the mats – particularly from her flanks and spinal area.

We know for sure that Tinkerbell will be feel so much more comfy now with her new, lighter Spring coat and the re-growth should happen quickly, as it’s so short.

We called in again on Macy in Manchester. You remember Macy ?

Macy is a Maine Coon and she’s now just over 4 years old and we meet up with her on a regular basis to keep her unruly coat in check !

We worked through a few lumps and bumps – brushed out where possible, and took away others with the clippers.

Afterwards, Macy was looking spick and span once more …. Well done Macy !

Who remembers Maine Coon cross Dexter in Manchester ?

We see Dexter on a regular basis to keep his coat short, as he’s happier that way.

Such a lovely guy. He’s well used to his sessions, although he’d much rather be doing something else at the time. Howeever he reaps the benefits afterwards.

Maine Coon Meascha in Oldham’s coat was definitely ready for it’s maintenance session. It has blossomed, for want of a better word !

A few knots here and there, especially on her chest, were removed and a lot of dead hair went into the bag !

Nice seeing you as always little chick … Oh, and you have grown too over the last couple of visits, Meascha. You’re much bigger than your sister Misty now !

20160205_110348A Lily 050216 cropped+(c) It was recently time for British Long Hair Lily’s maintenance session in Preston, Lancashire.

Lily has a very long, fluffy coat which is always ready for a good brush out.

Lily’s not too keen on the sessions – but we certainly had a bit of a breakthrough this time around. You see, Lily is 13 years old and we know she suffers from arthritis. She doesn’t at all like her back legs / front legs being touched. No doubt, because it’s uncomfortable for her. So, before this session Lily had her first dose of anti-inflamatory medicine from her vet – and it really did seem to make for a comfier session.

Well done Lily !
