Athena is a Persian and as such has such a thick coat.
She is always much happier after her Lion Clip in Middleton, Greater Manchester. Far far less to hair to contend with and take care of !
A nice session – less fidgety than usual. Well done Athena !
fluffy oliver
Fluffy Persian Oliver was due his maintenance session again recently in Winsford, Cheshire.
A nice chilled session as Oliver is now well used to proceedings (he used to be fidgety)… a lovely Belly Clip and brush out … and afterwards, Oliver said he was feeling like a million dollars !

Come and say Hello to Lara.
Lara is almost 12 months old and she is Siberian (Siberian Forest Cat) who lives in Liverpool, Merseyside.
This was Lara’s first session and she was very patient whilst pelts were removed from around her body. Lara is a nervous girl and some of the areas to be removed were extremely tight, so the clipping was intense in parts. Lara fared very well indeed !
super chilled logan
We were asked to call in to meet up with Logan in Glossop, Derbyshire as his coat had developed a few knotty areas that needed a work through.
Logan was fast asleep, upside down, in his cat bed when we arrived. He woke up with a little sweet talk and proceeded to lick and lick and lick. Is it possible to be licked to death ?
He is still only young at 18 months old, but is already a large, heavy boy. On the grooming table he was fidgety- oh, and he let us know he’d rather be back in bed, thank you very much – but he did calm as the session progressed. We took away a few lumps and bumps and had a good brush out.
After the session, mum Anna said
“….big thanks for your patience with grumbling logan! You are a god send and so patient with him, I’m so happy he is back to his usual gorgeous fluffy self ! He ended up cleaning himself for over an hour and then made friends again with us by snuggling on the couch (photo to come) thanks again!”

darling dexter
Here’s Maine Coon / Persian cross Dexter from Manchester.
Dexter benefited again recently from his maintenance clip. He’s now well used to our sessions and they have certainly become easier for him.

A new girl to join us : Lily in Preston, Lancashire.
Lily is a Birman and is around 5 years old. She has been with her new mum and dad for around 3 months now. She came from a rescue centre, along with her littermate – and well, let’s just say that they have fallen on their feet !
It has taken Lily some time to come out of her shell and enjoy the fuss, love and attention that she’s now showered with. She’s also now enjoying a little fuss with the comb. It’s taken some time, but she’s getting there. Well done Lily !!
miss dolly
Petite Persian Dolly in Carnforth, Lancashire was ready for her maintenance brush out when we called in on her recently !
Lots of excess hair came away and Dolly was such a good help with that little tongue of hers … washing away at the front whilst we combed around the back quarters.

Come and meet 7 year old Calli from Congleton, Cheshire. “She seems much happier, Sandra. Definitely more affectionate but still not doing much herself. I have combed her tail and she eventually let me after running off three times !!! I’ve also used the handle of the comb on her back which she accepts but basically if I try anything other than stroking her she initially runs. We’ll just keep trying. Thanks for last week though – you were fabulous with her”

Catching up with Maine Coon Macy in Manchester was on the cards again recently.
Macy is well au fait with proceedings and – although she’d rather not, thank you very much – we had a good brush out and removed one or 2 lugs along the way.
