what’s going on in tyldesley ?
The Tyldesley girls in Greater Manchester were ready for their manicure sessions when we called in on them recently.
As always, Lucy, Jess and Lily were compliant. Lucy has gone from a very nervous young lady, to almost quite chilled about the whole affair. Jess – well, she’s just cool. Lily found her second session still a little difficult – she’s a very nervous 6 month old kitten recently rescued.
On the other hand, Rosie was very cheeky about the whole affair. We’d heard about this side of her personality before, but never seen it in action. Rosie was adamant that her nails were already perfect, thank you !
As always, nice seeing you girls !
fluffy fluff
Fluff in Wigan, Greater Manchester asked us to call in on him again to have a look at his coat, which had begun to clump in places – particularly underneath and on one side. Mum does comb Fluff, but he’s really not that keen and makes it hard work for her.
On the grooming table today, Fluff definitely knew what it was all about and he remembered his last session. He was vocal again today in parts, but chilled in between his songs !
After the session, mum Viv said
“thank you so much for being so patient. He’s not the easiest of cats ,you’ve done a lovely job of fluffy xxxxxx”
… and Fluff ? Oh he was ever so pleased with himself. Cuddles and head bumps galore !
friendly clyde
Clyde in Preston was surprised to see us in Preston, Lancashire. The last time we met up was around 3 years ago, in his former house – so he wasn’t sure just how we’d found him ! Saying that, he came and met us in the garden with all smiles and head rubs.
Clyde is now around 5 years old, and he’s a Maine Coon.
His coat isn’t awfully thick, and he generally takes good care of it himself. Today was all about a brush out to spruce him up for Spring.
Nice catching up with you again, Clyde !
the urmston chicks
We called in to see the Urmston chicks recently for their manicure sessions.
As always, everyone was as good as gold. The girls (Tiger-Lily and Florence) are now well used to their sessions and although they’d rather not – thanks anyway ! – they don’t kick up a fuss. Oscar Bear just loves attention and he had to be asked to leave the table afterwards.
Nice seeing you all again !
sweet elvis
Persian Elvis in Middleton, Great Manchester was due his maintenance clip recently.
Elvis has the most enormous coat, which is very cotton wool-y making it very difficult to comb through. Hence, he really doesn’t like being groomed and he easily becomes matted.
Take a look at ourĀ facebook page and watch a very short video clip of Elvis in action (!) just after his session
pretty alex
Alex from Skelmersdale, Lancashire ….. Yes ! He was ready for his maintenance session, there is no doubt !
He required a little help particularly around his rear quarters and a good thinning out elsewhere. Well done, Alex !
darling daisy
Here’s 5 year old Daisy from Preston, Lancashire.
Daisy (and her sister Lily) are lucky to have found their new mum and dad recently – and Daisy has settled in soooo well. She loves all the love and affection she’s found, and really enjoys a good fuss ! What breed is Daisy ? She’s a Birman.
Daisy’s coat isn’t too difficult to manage, but she benefited from a work through her coat and a paw trim.
Nice session, Daisy !
pretty penny
Come and meet Penny ! Penny turned up on the doorstep about 12 months ago and, well, she never left ! Apparently, she decided that she quite liked the new pad she’d found in Sale, Greater Manchester and made it her new home.
We think that Penny is around 10 years old, and she is totally deaf. She was in pretty poor shape when she moved in – extremely thin, with a thyroid condition.
Needless to say, Penny has put on weight, her medication is keeping her condition under control and she’s now content as a house cat.
Mum had started to comb through Penny’s head and shoulders but her coat was proving a little daunting as there was such a great area to work through.
So, we met up with Penny for a session and there’s no doubt that Penny was a STAR ! She was so compliant. Even allowing her tummy to be combed out with no fuss at all !
A great session and so pleasing to see Penny’s coat looking so well afterwards. We were able to comb out over 95% of the clumps and took away just a tiny section from Penny’s back with the clippers. Fabby !
handsome harvey
Harvey ? Anyone ??!!
This handsome fellow was realllllllly ready for his maintenance session recently in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. Really ready in that Harvey needs a little help around the toileting area, as well as thinning out his enormous all round coat. (… and he loves it, on the quiet !)
After the session, mum Lauren said
“Just wanted to say thanks so much as always.. I say it every time I think but I just don’t know what we would do without you! Another great session.. and I’m so glad you can also offer us the service of coming on more regular visits.. I know it will make his quality of life better and shorter sessions, to tame his gigantic coat, will be welcomed by all of us! grin emoticon I love how he greets you though and always hangs around as you are packing up… its just all attention seeking up on the table! wink emoticon Always a pleasure and see you again in a few weeks xx”
Nice session, Harvey !!
We called in on Lola again in Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Lola is a very nervous girl and she had to be retrieved from her hiding place upstairs. However, once on the grooming table she relaxed some – and dare we even say enjoyed parts of the fussing.
Her coat was ready for a work through and a few lugs were removed along the way.
Dad Stuart sent a picce through a few days after Lola’s session. Just chillin’ !!
Nice seeing you again Lola !
