what a lucky chick
It’s true to say that this little miss fell on her feet when found her new mum. Elsa has the life of luxury and wants for nothing !
Saying that, she didn’t really want to be groomed, either. We had a good brush out and removed lots of excess hair from her flanks and rear quarters. These are often the thickest areas and today, were just starting to become a little clumpy.
Here’s Elsa right after her Session, chilling out.
the harvster
It was great catching up again with Harvey in Hebden Bridge – or The Harvster, as he’s affectionately known.
Harvey’s thick coat needs regular attention to keep him comfortable.
We know that Harvey’s not keen on his Sessions. He lets us know. Saying that, it’s all half hearted. Gone are the days when he meant what he said … and before and after his Sessions, we always have a good fuss – which he adores.
Looking good, Harvey !
friendly finch
Persian Finch was ready for his maintenance clip when we called in to see him again this time around in Whitefield, Manchester.
We caught he coat on top before any serious problems had arisen (since his last Clip), but there was a lot of dematting work to do on his legs and feet.
For parts of a Clip, it’s easier if the cat will stand up. Would Finch oblige ? Errrr … No ! What a lazy lump !
We’ll work on that for next time, Finch !
such a star
Here’s Thomas – taking a peek back in through the window, after his Brush Out in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
Nice Session, Thomas. Well done and see you again soon !
sir lance
It’s amazing that Maine Coon Lancelot wasn’t really any smaller after his latest Session in Halifax, Yorkshire. He was still a biggggggg boy.
Can you see all the hair that came away ? The pile was almost as large as the man himself !
Sessions are definitely getting easier for Lancelot. It would be an exageration to say that he hopped onto the grooming table of his own accord …. but he now knows the score, and he knows that there’s little point protesting.
Well done Lancelot ! Nice seeing you again !
a real star
Starlord really was a little star when we met up with him again recently in Chester, Cheshire.
His Persian coat was, as always, ready for a Brush Out – and afterwards ? Oh, Starlord was pretty chuffed with himself !
baby broc
Persian Broccoli was such a good girl when we met up today for her Belly Clip and Brush Out. Much less fidgety than previous Sessions !
Mum Ciara later said
“Thanks again for being patient with Broccoli, as ever, who is always such a diva about grooming. She seems to be getting better and better though. I almost think she enjoyed last time ! As usual, a professional, friendly service that always leaves queen Broccoli feeling much fresher and one step closer to loving the comb. Would recommend to anyone …”
Thanks a lot Ciara ! Nice seeing you again Broccoli !
such a babe
We called in to see Albert for his regular manicure in Urmston, Greater Manchester.
No fuss. Albie is such a gentle boy. It’s true to say he’d rather not – but he grits his teeth and bears it, and it’s all over within a minute or two.
Nice seeing you again Albie !
tiger boy
Young Persian Tigger always scrubs up well !
Tigger’s coat was thinner on top today – his summer coat – but still ready for a good brush out. A couple of lugs were removed here and there, and we had a Belly Clip to make life easier under there.
Tigger is always a good boy and today was no exception !
beautiful bella
We caught up again with British Shorthair (BSH) Bella in Manchester.
Bella is always ready for a brush out but is never in the mood. However, we know that later she feels so good having lost so much hair !
