big boy boodles
Who remembers young Boodles ??
Maine Coon. 18 months old. Preston. Lancashire.
Such a gentle young man. Today, we had a much less fidgety session and Boodles was amenable to us working through and making his coat lighter – removing a few lugs here and there.
Great Session, Boodles ! Nice seeing you again !
broccoli the cat
We took away lottttttts of dead hair and a few lumps and bumps to make Broccoli more comfy, when we met up with her recently in Salford, Manchester
….. and Broccoli was such a good girl ….. !
baby buster
Maine Coon Buster from Manchester. Never keen on his Session, but always feeling better for it afterwards.
Well done Buster !
beautiful bola
Here’s Chinchilla Persian Bola after her latest maintenance Session in Preston, Lancashire.
Quite a chilled Session, on the Bola scale. She definitely finds it much easier these days,
Well done Bola !
mr tiggz
Here’s Persian Tigger from Bury, Greater Manchester just after his latest Brush Out and Belly Clip.
Such a thick coat, Tigger – and what a good boy ! Tigger is always gentle and friendly, but today not half as fidgety as previous Sessions. Well done Tigger – Looking rather handsome !
such a gem
Here is 16 year old Ruby from Warrington, Cheshire – a new girl to join us !
Mum had done well combing through some of Ruby’s coat, but just a couple of thicker, matted areas remained on Ruby’s lower back/trousers. Ruby was a real sweetie pie and very tolerent. We were able to comb out the offending areas with no fuss.
A couple of Ruby’s nails were ingrown – as she doesn’t venture far into the garden these days, and doesn’t wear them down. It’s important to keep an eye on the nails of indoor/elderly/sick cats to make sure they aren’t becoming overgrown.
fluffy fluff
We caught up again with Fluff in Wigan, Greater Manchester recently.
Fluff by name, fluff by nature ! Fluff’s coat was quite humungous (word ? sp ? !).
We took away a few lugs here and there that couldn’t be worked through and brushed out the rest of Fluff’s coat.
Today, we had just a couple of short songs from Fluff .. Sessions are defintely getting easier for him and afterwards ?? Oh, Fluff was dead chuffed with himself !
Really well done Fluff. Such a good boy !
mitzi moo
Mitzi from Wigan, Lancashire – Looking pretty pleased with herself after her latest brush out.
Mitzi’s around 11 years old now and is such a sweet girl. She just loves to chat and it’s oh, always so interesting !
fluffy coco
We met up again with Coco in Leyland, Lancashire.
Coco is quite a nervous 7 year lady, and it’s fair to say that she doesn’t like to be combed, We worked through her coat, much to her displeasure – removing areas that couldn’t be combed, and brushing out the rest.
We’re going to catch up with Coco again in a few weeks time to keep on top of her coat.
A few weeks after her Session, Coco’s mum Heather said
“Essentially purrfect is a service my cat Coco can no longer do without. Having a long haired cat it is so difficult to keep her fur from getting matted. We got to the point that the matts were clearly hurting her and we had no chance of getting them out. Our cat gets extremely stressed very easily. Taking her to the vets is a total nightmare and often causes more harm than good. So we decided the best thing to do would have a groomer come to the house. When I first contacted Sandra she was fantastic, she went through Coco and her needs thoroughly. When Sandra visits she is well prepared – especially for our cat who can be difficult. She puts on calming music and tries to ensure that your cat is as calm and comfortable as possible. However that being said she also gets the job done. Our cat puts up a good fight in the process but Sandra’s calm yet firm manner means that she comes out at the end of it fully groomed and de matted. I would highly recommend Sandra. She does a fantastic job and if she can groom our nervous cat she can groom any”
miss mini
Minie from Wilmslow, Cheshire doesn’t look her 13 years ! In fact, she’s so kitten-looking !
We called in to look at Minie’s coat which had developed some clumpy areas towards the rear. All no fuss for Minie. Good as gold and such a sweetie.
Well done Minie – looking good !
