handsome vic
Here’s Siberian Forest Cat Victor from Salford, Manchester after his best Session to date. Best in that Victor was much more relaxed and tolerated the combing much more.
This was due to a few things, we think. First, mum has been able to keep up more with the combing. Just a few areas needed attention today. So, no doubt Victor was feeling better about his coat in general – and of course, as this was his 4th time on the table, he knew just what to expect. ie. lots of fuss and attention !
Mum Anna later said :
“Victor seemed really pleased with himself after his Session with you, as there are no longer any mats in his coat. He doesn’t seem suspicious and nervous when I pick up the the comb any more. In fact, he almost seems as if he’s enjoying it ! Thanks again for doing such a great job and being so patient during his occasional tantrum ! xx”
Well done Victor !
friendly harvey
Harvey was such a good boy during his latest Session in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire.
Harvey’s coat is so thick and more recently we’ve taken it shorter, particularly underneath and around his rear quarters, to make life easier for him.
Nice seeing you again Harvey !
sweetie sapphire
Come and meet Sapphire !
We met up with this 7 year old Birman recently for her first professional groom in Stockport, Cheshire.
Sapphire’s coat was in great condition and not much at all came away during the Session. Well done Sapphire – and well done mum for keeping on top of things so well !
charming chester
British Shorthair Chester – looking swish after his latest Session (top piccie). The bottom left picture is just before the Session began.
Today was Chester’s 3rd Session in Warrington, Cheshire and things have really got easier for him. He was quite chilled on the grooming table today as he enjoyed some fuss and sweet talk.
Lots lighter a short time later, Chester was well chuffed with himself !
pretty princess
Princess in Chorley, Lancashire needed some help with a pelted coat.
We took a large area away with the clippers from Princess’ sides, lower back, chest and tummy and flanks.
There’s more work to do. We’re meeting up with Princess again soon to work on her lower legs and feet particularly, which are quite matted. Princess doesn’t like any fiddling down there – which is quite usual. Legs and feet are bony with little flesh to work with.
However, we know that Princess is feeling like a new woman, with her pelts having been removed.
miss misty
Young Maine Coon Misty in Heywood, Greater Manchester enjoyed her latest maintenance Session. She always does !
Fuss, fuss, fuss ! Misty is always so friendly from start to finish, and purrs and washes her way through the Session.
so fluffy
Peaches – Feeling much lighter after her latest maintenance Session in Northwich, Cheshire.
We thinned out her coat, shortened her bib, renewed her Belly Clip and tidied up her fluffy snow shoes. Oh, and a manicure to finish off the look !
wow .. such an age
A new girl to join us : Homer.
How old do you think Homer is ? You won’t guess …… 22 years old !! Her little face is so kitten-ish !
Homer from Bolton, Greater Manchester needed a little help with a few lumps and bumps that had developed. Homer sat still and was as good as gold as we worked through. She really knew what was going on.
We heard from dad a couple of weeks after the Session who told us that Homer seems much happier.
Nice meeting you Homer !
miss mindy
Here’s Mindy from Astley, Greater Manchester.
We call on Mindy regularly to keep on top of her nails, as she is a house cat these days. She was rescued by mum a couple of years ago, and she wouldn’t have it any other way !
a real beau
He’s Bo – Before and After his Session in Warrington, Cheshire.
Bo is a very nervous guy, but once he’s on the grooming table he settles very well – whilst we work on his left side. Not at all keen to turn around though. In fact, he’s quite adamant that his right side isn’t going to be combed !
Today, we took quite a lot from his bib to thin it out as it was getting in the way with eating, washing etc. The piccie on the left is after the Session, with the left piccie before the Session.
Later, mum Karen said
“Many thanks for your patience with Bo, I didn’t think you would be able to get both sides done ! He looks like a kitten again with his short bib and side bits. He’s been very playful too this morning, chasing a tissue paper ball around”.
