Look at the smile on 13 year old Persian Molly’s face !

She had just finished her maintenance brush out in Prescot, Merseyside.

Molly has a thick, cotton-wooly coat – so even though her coat is still only partially grown, it was still a full on Session. She was a little star !

Bobby in Wilmslow, Cheshire had a great Session when we met up recently.

Quite a nervous young lady, Maine Coon Bobby reckons she’s not that keen on her grooming time – but she manages to get in the swing of things and relax a little during the Session. This time she even had a short snooze (where she needed to be prodded to arouse her) and a self groom wash. Just helping !

Feeling a lot lighter a little later on (see the hair that came away, bottom piccie) – here is Bobby herself. Well done Bobby and we’ll see you again soon !

We met up with 7 year old Canti in Southport, Lancashire recently.

Canti’s coat had become clumpy around her back area – and she needed some help to make it manageable again. The bottom left piccie is Canti’s coat before the Session.

We combed through where possible and clipped off the rest. Although Canti wasn’t over the moon, she let us get on with it and afterwards it was evident that she was feeling rather pleased with herself !

After the Session, dad Jon said

“Did a great job and looked after canti today and sorted the problem out ,and would highly recommend thank-you”

Here’s British Shorthair (BSH) Bella from Chorlton, Manchester – enjoying some fresh air in her garden, after her Session.

Bella really doesn’t enjoy her time on the grooming table. One side in particular is difficult for her. However, saying all that, Bella is more tolerant now than earlier Sessions.

Here’s a new young lady to join us : Inca !

Inca is around 3 years old now and she lives in Stockport with her mum.

We had a gentle Session, removing offending areas of coat and brushing out the rest to make Inca more comfy.

Such a good girl ! Inca was so tolerant and obliging – and she was feeling so good afterwards. Well done Inca !

You wouldn’t think that British Shorthair (BSH) Hadie is 12 years old. He looks so kitten-ish for his years !

Hadie lives in Chorley, Lancashire. He’s quite a character and he definitely thinks he’s the boss of the house !

We’d been called in as Hadie’s short, dense coat had become clumpy – and he really wouldn’t tolerate any combing. His gently, friendly self is quite determined when the comb is around.

We took it slowly with him, and by the end of the second Session, he was tolerating much better. Oh, and ever so friendly, wanting fuss and treats. Good result, Hadie !

gentle alfie

A new chick to join us. Say a big Hi to 16 year old Alfie from Preston, Lancashire.

A real gentle guy who was badly in need of a manicure as he was getting his nails stuck in the carpet as he walked around the house.

No fuss, Alfie was a little (or, big) star. We’re going to meet up with Alfie again in a few weeks time for a full groom. Well done Alfie !

Young Dolly in Carnforth, Lancashire – looking extremely fluffy, with her heavier winter coat already.

Dolly is a Persian cross, so always has a high maintenance coat. Just more high maintentance in winter than summer !
