so cuddly
British Shorthair variant Peaches in Northwich was ready for her maintenance session again recently.
We had a Belly Clip with a Brush Out and Hygiene Trim, and thinned out Peaches bib.
There were a few lumps and bumps which needed to come away along with lots of dead hair.
See you again soon, Peaches !
mr norget
Norget is quite a big boy, and he’s with us now in Manchester all the way from the States.
Due to allergies (dad) we decided to take Norget’s coat short. He is a short haired boy anyway but this cut may help dad.
Norget didn’t think much to the idea and was extremely fidgety and vocal. Especially around his tummy. He wasn’t too fussed about his back and sides being worked on.
Afterwards – Norget was sprawled out in the hallway chilling out. It was a hot day, and had been a hot session. Don’t think he noticed,- or maybe just disinterested ? – in his lack of coat !
a little lion
Young Persian Aslan needed some help with his coat recently.
Aslan lives in Warrington, Cheshire with his new family. He’s been with them for around 5 months and he’s settled right into his new life.
What he’s really not that keen on though is his coat being brushed. He has that cotton wool-ey type coat which is thick and difficult to keep on top of and he presented quite pelted. There was no option but to take the coat away for a fresh start.
Although not keen on his session, Aslan tolerated quite well for long enough to remove the worst of the mats. We broke off the Session, and reconvened a week later to work on his lower legs and feet. Hard going as it’s very bony down there. Most cats don’t like this area being worked on, particularly if it’s matted.
Here is Aslan – one week after his main clip. His coat had already begun to grow back (remarkably quickly ! heck !) and he looked quite the handsome teddy bear.
We’re going to see Aslan regularly now to keep on top of his coat. Aren’t we, Aslan ?!
such a gentle girl
It was nice to call in to see young Siberian Forest Cat Aleera again in Warrington, Cheshire.
We last met up with Aleera at the end of 2015. She’s a real sweet little chick with the most amazing puppy dog eyes. She just wants cuddles and fuss !
Aleera’s coat was in lovely condition. Although we heard a cheeky low growl from time to time whilst combing her tummy she was very good at simultaneously giving those loving stares !
lovely lily
We called in to meet up with new chick Lily from Knutsford, Cheshire recently.
Lily is 9 years old now, and she is a Maine Coon.
She’s not that keen on being groomed (except around her face) and Lily’s coat had become matted – particularly underneath.
We decided to give Lily a full Belly Clip and thinned her coat out elsewhere.
Know you’ll be feeling fresher, Lily !
yummy
Many thanks to Jester (and mum Donna) from Bury, Greater Manchester for the fabulous eggs from their brood !
Scrummy poached eggs this morning for breakfast (incl. the double yolker) ! xx
pretty phoebe
Regular customer Phoebe was all the better for her maintenance clip recently in Winsford, Cheshire.
Never that keen on the session, but they are definitely getting easier for her … but oh, how great she feels afterwards !
cuddly cheeto
Here’s Cheeto from Salford, Manchester.
At 9 years old, Cheeto is such a gentle, friendly guy. A little nervous of what was going on, but his behaviour was as good as gold.
We worked through with minimal fuss. Nice meeting you Cheeto !
mr red
Red. Siberian Forest Cat. Sandbach. Cheshire. 3 years old. A cuddly buddly chappy !
Red was ready for his latest maintenance session – and Red felt like a million dollars afterwards !
2 shorthaired chicks
Daisy May and Buster, both British Shorthairs, had their first manicure/pedicure sessions in Northwich, Cheshire recently.
Both were quite nervous during the session, Buster more so – but no fuss. Sessions generally become easier, so next time should be less so.
