miss meascha
Maine Coon Meascha was her usual friendly, inquisitive self when we called in on her recently. Emmm … those bags are sooooo interesting !
Meascha’s coat was a little luggy around the armpits and chest with the rest of her coat just ready for a good brushing.
Nice session, Meascha !
how old ?
Buffy from Liverpool, Merseyside is 18 years old now.
She suffers from arthritis these days and doesn’t find her short coat quite as easy to manage as she used to.
We removed lots of tufts and mats from around Buffy’s body to make her more comfy – and we’ll be seeing her again in a few weeks time to keep on top of her maintenance.

quite a duchess
We called in to see Persian cross Duch in Warrington, Cheshire as she was due her maintenance Session.
Although it’s only a few weeks since we last me up, Duch was definitely ready for our visit. At 19 years old, Duch isn’t as on top of her self grooming as she used to be.
A few lugs here and there needed to be removed, followed by a good brush out to make her lighter. Duch knows the score and although she’d rather be dozing the afternoon away, she let us get on with the job in hand. Nice seeing you again Duch !
tiger tigger
18 year old Tigger had a lot to say when we called in on her in Crewe, Cheshire recently.
Tigger never has been one for a fuss or petting – and doesn’t like to be groomed. Her long coat had become extremely pelted so there was no choice but to take large sections away for a fresh start – particularly underneath and around the rear quarters.
Tigger told and showed us in no uncertain terms that it wasn’t her idea of fun. However, a short time later she was feeling a whole lot comfier and cooler.
After the session, Tigger managed to top up her tum with a few treats then retreated to the bedroom for a kip. So pleased we were able to help you, Tigger.
dolly daydream
Persian cross Dolly from Carnforth, Lancashire was, as always, ready for her maintenance session recently.
A couple of lugs were removed here and there, and a bag full of dead hair came away during her brush out. Where does it all come from Dolly ?!
handsome olly
This young man is Olly from The Wirral.
Olly is around 8 years old and he’s quite a quiet guy. He is nervous of strangers, but soon relaxed into his Session.
Olly’s matted coat underneath was removed and then his remaining coat had a good brush through.
He was such a good boy and afterwards went straight out into the garden to chill. Does he look chilled to you ??!!
After the Session, mum Anita said
“Olly is a changed boy ! He literally bullied me into grooming him, when I started combing Stanley tonight. Long may it continue ..”. Fantastic to hear!!!!
mr marley
It was so nice to be able to meet up with 22 year old Marley in Blackpool, Lancashire.
Marley’s short coat had developed some mats and pelts, particularly on his sides and back. Mum had done really well removing some of the clumps, but a bit a help was needed.
We took the rest of the coat off Marley’s back for a fresh start and he was such a good boy. We continued by removing some tufts from the chest area and flanks.
Marley was soon feeling a whole lot comfier – oh, and he did enjoy the Session. All that fuss ! Purr purr – and that was before his after-session treat !
A few days later, mum Marie reported
“Just wanted to say thank you very much for sorting Marley cat out. He’s been a lot happier !! And is enjoying a yoghurt straw every day lol x”
mr harry
Here’s Persian Mr Harry from Huyton, Merseyside.
Mr Harry came to say Hello when we called in on him recently. He is now used to his Sessions and he was such a good boy as we worked through his coat to make him spick and span again.
Nice seeing you Mr Harry !
miss molly
Molly Moppet in Sedbergh, Cumbria has been waiting very patiently for her Pin Up day !
This was the first time we’d met up with Molly Moppet. She is around 4 years old and such a sweet girl.
Molly Moppet’s coat was in good condition with just a few lugs that needed attention – and lots of dead hair to come away. Plus we took some length away around the trousers and rear quarters to maing toileting easier.
We heard one or two naughty words during the Session from the young miss but MM knew what the score was. Afterwards, she proved it by having a mega washing session.
A few days after our visit, mum Karen said
“Thank you for your kind and gentle grooming of Molly Moppet today. She looks lovely and I’m sure that despite her complaints and swearing she won’t be too worried about the next time and may even come to enjoy it”

We see Macy on a regular basis to keep her long coat in check. She’s not enamoured by the thought of a Session, but we know she always feels great afterwards !
