the tyldesley girls
We called in again on The Tyldesley girls for their maintenance manicures (and pedicures !).
Rosie (bottom left) was her usual cheeky self, but full of smiles before and after her session ! Young Lily (top right) is slowly gaining a little confidence, although she is still nervous about affairs.
Lucy – the boss (top left) – has been in residence the longest and isn’t keen but it was all over before she knew it ! … and Jess (black and white) was quite the usual star. Chilled and relaxed laid out on the grooming table enjoying the fuss …. errrr, we’ve finished now Jess !

young suri
Here is young Suri in Oldham, Greater Manchester after her latest Session. Who remembers Suri ?
We keep her thick Persian coat short as this is the best option for Suri. She’s not that keen on being combed, so this keeps her knot free.
Quite a little squirmy wormy today, but such a sweet girl with it – and afterwards she was trotting around pretty pleased with herself !
lovely luna
We caught up again with Luna in Hasingden, Lancashire recently.
Luna’s a real sweet girl, with a long, thick Maine Coon coat. She’s around 2 years old now – and quite big with it !
We took Luna’s belly short and pared down her innner thighs and bib for an easier life all round. It’s fair to say the Luna lost lots of fluff in the process and afterwards was feeling like a million dollars !
Following the session, mum said
“Thank you Sandra for sorting Miss Luna out today, she looks beautiful though she has washed herself to sleep!!”
big bear
Young Bear in Hoghton was pretty chilled during his latest maintenance Session.
Bear is 2 years old now and he’s a Maine Coon who can be found in Hoghton, Lancashire.
We had a good chat whist Bear’s coat was worked through. Always nice to hear what he’s been up to. It always all sounds so exciting from Bear’s perspective !
miss misty
Maine Coon Misty in Heywood, Greater Manchester was a sweetie as usual when we called in on her again recently.
Misty’s session was the usual calm, gentle affair we’re used to. No knots to contend with, just a brush out to make her lighter, and a thin out around the rear quarters and bib.
Well done Misty !
ittle esta
3 year old Persian Esta from Oldham, Greater Manchester was feeling a whole lot more comfy after her latest maintenance clip.
It was a fidgety session but her coat was in good shape as we caught it in good time. However, it very soon would have started matting again so the session was timely.
Well done Esta ! See you again in a few weeks time !
such a star
Star Lord in Chester, Cheshire doesn’t seem to realise he should be wearing his summer coat at the moment. When we called in on him recently he was quite the fluff ball.
Such a sweet little guy. Star Lord enjoyed his usual armpit, hygiene and paw trim, followed by a good thinning out elsewhere. See the piccie of the hair that came away during his brush out !
Oh – He was was a tiny bit fidgety, but nothing a bit a sweet talk couldn’t sort out.

Evander from Rochdale, Greater Manchester anyone ?
At 9.2kg, this young Maine Coon is a true gentle giant. He is always reluctant to join us on the grooming table, but once there – even with all the meowing – he starts to chill.
In fact, he was in a real slumber during this session. It was only the local kids noisily playing outside which woke him. Then ? Yes ! The meowing began again !
Evander was certainly ready for his Session and boy, did he feel sleek and lighter afterwards.
A few days after the Session, mum Keela said
“It was that time of year again where Evander needed his summer groom and his trousers taken up ! As ever, Sandra gave Evander the 5* treatment, singing to him as she went along and he joined in too meowing away (that’s what I like to tell myself !!). He’s such a drama queen as Sandra showed me a video of him flat out enjoying himself ! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend EssentiallyPurrfect, the most gentle, considerate person you could ask for to look after your furbaby”
elegant eloise
Here’s Maine Coon Eloise from Hoghton, Lancashire. Who recognises Eloise ?
Eloise is aruond 3 years old and she likes nothing more than going out into the woods and getting her long coat full of twigs and all sorts. This, of course, doesn’t help keeping her mat free.
Today, we took her tummy short (as this is a difficult area for mum to keep on top of. Eloise isn’t keen on being combed there at all) and worked through the rest. Removing bits and bobs as necessary and thinning her out with a good brush out.
Although Eloise doesn’t look forward to her Sessions, she tolerated quite well today and was looking quite stunning a short while later.

Persian Abu on The Wiral has the most thick coat going.
To make life easier for everyone concerned we keep 10 year old Abu’s coat short, as it’s so difficult to keep on top of with brushing.
What a good boy Abu was during his Session. Much less fidgety than previous sessions. In fact – we think he loved all the fuss and he knows that he always feels great afterwards.
