lovely lily
A new girl to join us : Lily in Preston, Lancashire.
Lily is a Birman and is around 5 years old. She has been with her new mum and dad for around 3 months now. She came from a rescue centre, along with her littermate – and well, let’s just say that they have fallen on their feet !
It has taken Lily some time to come out of her shell and enjoy the fuss, love and attention that she’s now showered with. She’s also now enjoying a little fuss with the comb. It’s taken some time, but she’s getting there. Well done Lily !!
miss dolly
Petite Persian Dolly in Carnforth, Lancashire was ready for her maintenance brush out when we called in on her recently !
Lots of excess hair came away and Dolly was such a good help with that little tongue of hers … washing away at the front whilst we combed around the back quarters.
Thanks Dolly !
this calico chick
“She seems much happier, Sandra. Definitely more affectionate but still not doing much herself. I have combed her tail and she eventually let me after running off three times !!! I’ve also used the handle of the comb on her back which she accepts but basically if I try anything other than stroking her she initially runs. We’ll just keep trying. Thanks for last week though – you were fabulous with her”
such a fluffy chick !
macy moo
Catching up with Maine Coon Macy in Manchester was on the cards again recently.
Macy is well au fait with proceedings and – although she’d rather not, thank you very much – we had a good brush out and removed one or 2 lugs along the way.
Looking great, Macy ! Well done !
such blue eyes !
Ragdoll Jemima was ready for her brush out recently. Her coat was holding lottttts of dead winter hair that needed to come away.
Jemima is 4 years old and lives with her family (human and feline) in Eccles, Manchester.
Jemima is such a lovely, friendly, inquisitive girl. With a strong mind. If she says No, that’s what she means … So we took some time discussing what was necessary and reluctantly she went along with it.
After the event, mum Becky said :
“You did a fantastic job as always on her coat it looks great, many thanks xx”
Here’s Jemima (Jemba !) looking a lot lighter after her session !
a bonny girl
We called in to see Bonnie again in Burnage, Manchester.
Bonnie is a gentle girl. We think that she’s somewhere between 12-16 years old. Not quite sure as she was rescued by her current mum and dad. … and of course, now has the good life !
Bonnie remembered her last session and let us work through her coat with no fuss. A little fidgety, but not much. Well done Bonnie !
After the session, dad Mike said :
“Bonnie is a long haired cat who had problems with hair balls and self grooming. We booked Sandra and she with loving care and attention has now groomed Bonnie twice. Bonnie has gained tremendously in that she has more energy, is able to groom herself better and looks happier. Finally, Sandra has advised how to better groom Bonnie and has given us general advice on her care. Thoroughly recommend Sandra”
mr buster
Maine Coon Buster from Chorlton, Manchester recently enjoyed his latest session with us.
He had his usual clip, and afterwards was feeling much the lighter for it !
Well done Buster – nice seeing you again.
lovely bobby
Bobby. Maine Coon. 2 years old. Wilmslow. Cheshire. Who remembers Bobby ?
We first met up with Bobby last Autumn. Today, we had a good work through her coat to rid her of that extra winter fluff it was holding and get her ready for Spring.
Bobby’s quite a nervous young lady, but fared well again on the grooming table (although she would rather have been doing something else !). She does enjoy a bit of sweet talk along the way !
pretty elsa
We caught up with 5 year old Elsa in Stockport, Cheshire again, recently.
Elsa’s coat was in tip top condition, but ready for a good brush out. It was a very relaxed session and lots of chatter later, Elsa had to be helped off the grooming table ! Sooooo chilled !
